TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The atmosphere over the Eastern Caribbean remains sufficiently moist and unstable to produce occasional cloudy spells with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms across parts of the region during the forecast period.  

A plume of Saharan dust haze trailing the tropical wave is expected to reduce visibility and air quality over the Lesser Antilles from tomorrow Thursday.

A tropical wave several hundred miles southwest of Cabo Verde is producing disorganized activity, but conditions are more favorable for development into a tropical depression later this week as it moves west to west-northwest across the central Atlantic.

Another area of disturbance also southwest of Cabo Verde is producing disorganized activity. Chance of further development is low over the next several days as it moves west to west-northwest across the central Atlantic.

Interests in Saint Lucia and the rest of the region should closely monitor these systems.
